Windows 7 is full of fun little things you can do, tricks and changes. Here is a quick one that you might enjoy:

How to set up the Desktop Background slideshow using your images

This one is fairly simple, and as always there are alternate ways to accomplish it. If you are in a hurry skip to the last step.

I would recommend putting the pictures you want to use in one folder. You can leave the folder on the desktop or put it somewhere else, just remember what you did with it.

Step 1: Use your mouse and “Right” click in an empty space on your desktop. You should see something similar to below. Click “Personalize”.

Step 2: On the bottom left area of the Window that pops up click “Desktop Background”.

Step 3: Now click on the drop down arrow by Picture location and choose Pictures Library, use the browse button to find your pictures.

Step 4: Set how long your images take to change.

Step 5: You can also choose the images display on the desktop.

you can use the other options here, so experiment

Step 6: Don’t forget to click “Save changes”.

Quick Step: A faster way to get to your backgrounds is to click the start button and then in the search box type “background”.

That’s it for this one. Experiment with the settings and different images to see what you like best.
