Note: this version is x64 only,
Leaked on torrentsites: the latest build 7048 for download.
Some of the build 7048 screenshots are posted here below this article (click to enlarge).

The release, titled “Windows 7 Ultimate - Build 7048 x64″ was released at approximately 8:00 PM Pacific Time on mininova.
It contains the build string: 7048.winmain.090219-184.
Here is a list of known changes:

1.“Send Feedback” on title bar removed
2.“Windows 7 Business” now reads “Windows 7 Professional” in the installation
3.Paint icon changed
4.Calculator icon changed
5.Sticky Notes icon changed
6.Windows Media Center receives a version upgrade
7.Alt+Tab works with Aero Peek
8.24-39% more icons available on taskbar before scrolling
9.Start button changed
10.Additional features

is it the same on 7022 in terms of performance?...thus some bugs fixes?... Im downloading it right now..

it is a little bit better as Passmark Performance Test now gives me 810 score instead of 750 in build 7000 and 760 in build 7022

Oops. Just found out my processor is designed for 64 bit and I've been using 32 bit OS's all along!

Hey. I have 2GB ram and an AMD Athlon 64 3600+ x2 Dual Processor. Can my computer run 64bit?

it may work mate...most of the RAMs now have at least 64 bit as brandwidth, and if you use two of 32 bit brandwith each it is still allright
you have an "amd athlon <64> 3600+ x2 processor, so you have 64 bit powerful processor
you have to verify though the rest of your pc components support 64 bit or not
just tell me the specs of your computer and i'll do the verification for you

2GB RAM
Nvidia GEForec 6100 upgrading to 8800
PCI Express motherboard (i have no idea what my motherboard is)

dudes if you want to go 64 bit, which will soon be the only solution i see, just upgrade to minimum 4 Gb of ram and multicore processors
64 bit needs horsepower to show up to be faster than x86

Mine is a dual core processor and umm i tried installing more RAM and when I started my computer it kept beeping.

cristian w7 you probably have not installed the memory modules correctly,or your processor dosen't support that amount of memory(for example Pentium D805 processor is a single processor with dual logic processors that support adressing a maximum of 8Gb of RAM

I see. My computer only has two slots that I can put RAM into,.. Maybe this week I will go and get a 2GB RAM stick than I will have 3GB. Is that good enough? I just found out my computer can hold up to 8GB RAM.

I have to get mine as an IMAGE FILE cuz the one I got from riso said it was corrupt (SetUp.exe) when it wasn't
