Microsoft has finally announced the pricing of Office 2013. The cloud based Office 2013 would be available with subscriptions for home and Office Users as well for business. Microsoft is still offering the standalone version of Office 13 if, you don’t want to buy a subscription.
 
Home users will be able to get Office 355 Home Premium with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote with Outlook, SkyDrive storage, Skype minutes and upto five PC installation for the cost of $99.99/year while the standalone package named as Office Home & Student with Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote and cloud sync would be available for the price of $139.99.
 
If, you are an outlook user and want a standalone package then, Office Home & Business is best for you which would provide the outlook along with all the features of Home & Student. Office Home & Business would be available against the price of $219.99.
 
Microsoft Office Professional would also be offered for the cost of $399 as standalone package which would include the Home & Student features with additional Publisher and Access software.

Office 2013 for Windows RT which comes bundled with Windows RT devices would also include the standard applications but, they have been optimized for Windows RT with better touch features and low battery consumptions.
 
Office 2013 and Office 2013 RT would be available in early 2013 but, Office 2013 Preview would be included in Windows RT devices when they are launched with Windows 8 on October 25. Full version of Office 2013 RT would be rolled out through Windows Updates when it becomes available.
 
Users who but Office 2010 after October 19 would be provided a free upgrade to Office 2013 when it becomes available.
