Apple Tablet to Arrive in 2010: SourcesTechtree News
« on: August 17, 2009, 02:38:06 AM »

As September approaches, the already existing speculations about Apple coming up with new tablet will increase. Now, music industry sources say that Apple informed them about plans of holding a keynote on Sept. 7. Always secretive about its plans and products, Apple might be looking to include the music industry folks for its project Cocktail. However, the focus still remains on the much rumored $800 Apple Tablet.
Recently, the inferences of iProd device presumed as the Apple Tablet were found again in the iPhone OS 3.1 beta. Earlier today, Gizmodo's Editorial Director Brian Lam wrote about talk with that an insider on Apple Tablet. While several people might deem to think the post authentic, tech industry veterans differ stating that the information is likely to be false. Don't push your expectations high for Apple Tablet on September or later.

Loopinsight claimed getting a confirmation from 'very reliable sources' familiar with the Apple Tablet plans saying that it won't be available until the first half of 2010. In late May, certain sources blurted out that Apple plans to release $500-$700 tablet sometime in 2010 which could be collated to Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster, who stated the same in his research note.

Apple has the history of launching new iPod devices at events held in fall (late Sept. or Oct.) to leverage on the holiday season for more sales. Rest assured, we'll get to see at least an overhauled device this fall.

$5 says for that price you'll be getting the same power as the original GameBoy Color... (I actually still have mine, the Atomic Purple one, those were the days eh?)

There's no place like 127.0.0.1
