Just came across one more new feature of Windows 7 build 7048. Microsoft has included new sound schemes for the latest build. That is, Windows 7 build 7048 comes with 13 different sound schemes apart from the default sounds scheme.

As you have observed, previous Windows 7 builds contain only one default sound scheme and the default sound scheme was not different from the Windows Vista sound scheme.

In Windows 7 build 7048, all sound schemes are different from each other and are really nice to hear. You can download all Windows 7 build 7048 sounds from the below mentioned link. The download size is around 5 MB and contains 13 different sound schemes.

This file is compressed using Winrar and the latest 3.71 works well in W7.
