Microsoft Edge now leads the browser pack on Jet Stream, Octane, and SunSpider

At Build 2015, Microsoft has revealed a bit more info on Microsoft Edge (previously known as Project Spartan). The company has just revealed that Edge beats the other leading browsers on benchmark tests – here’s some images (via Tom Warren):





As you can see on the above images, Edge beats other browsers, including Chrome on JetStream (by Apple) and Octane 2.0 (by Google). It’s also worth pointing out that Edge also beats Internet Explorer 11 on these benchmarks.
