Russian mobile operator, Megafon has commenced the sale of the Irbis TW81 Windows 10 tablet in Russia. The 8-inch tablet should be able to performs the functions of a cell phone and is available exclusively from its branded Megafon shop for a price tag of RUB 5490 (US$ 79).



The Irbis TW81 sports a 8-inch IPS display with screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA), powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor clocked up to 1.83GHz with Intel HD Graphics, 1GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).

The tablet has a front facing 0.3-megapixel camera for video chats, rear facing 2-megapixel camera with no flash, single SIM slot and supports 2G & 3G networks. Connectivity options available includes – USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth



The Irbis TW81 measures 208 x 126 x 9.6mm in dimensions, weighs 380 grams and is backed by a 4200mAh Li-ion battery. Running Windows 10 OS ensures the tablet enjoys benefits such as virtual desktops, Microsoft Edge, OneDrive storage and Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote). ‎
