Microsoft was quick to reveal some impressive statistics regarding Windows 10 at their BUILD 2016 keynote, confirming that the OS was running on more than 270 million devices total.

A mark that is good enough to make it the fastest growing version of Windows ever.

The software titan also streamed a video during the opening keynote that put this achievement in the spotlight to clearly show that the adoption of the new platform was going according to plan — that said, some granular numbers would have been neat.

Detailing just how many desktop PCs, notebooks, tablets, phones, IoT devices and Xbox One consoles were powered by Windows 10.

Similarly, 6.6 million hours of Xbox One games have been streamed to Windows 10 PCs, and Microsoft claims that the debut of the OS marked the biggest year in Xbox history.
