Speed up ur internet alot
« on: September 20, 2009, 08:29:37 AM »
I found this and tried it out. The difference is unbelievable. I wont go into it, i'll give u the page to read urself. Theres a download at the top if u don't want to do the reg tweaks manually. My internet is so much faster, i didn't think it could get any better, i thought i had it tweaked to the max. U learn something new.....

Please post comments on it.

... My internet is so much faster, i didn't think it could get any better, ...
You seem to like this tweak rover3500  :)
Sorry but I find your comments rather generic. I do not wish to ruffle your feathers, but you say your internet is so much faster. Faster than what?

And when you say Internet are you talking browser - if so which one.
OR, do you mean the loading of the browser or the pages.
Sorry to nit-pick here, but I have done no tweaks - and my browser opens immediately (both FF and GChrome - not IE).
Also my pages come up without delay.
"The difference is unbelievable" - I find it hard to image anything faster  ;)
Please put me at ease  :-\

By faster i mean that pages that normally take time to load,ie. pages with pictures or the like ,load much faster for me,at least twice as fast.Unless u have a 100mb connection(mines 10mb),a page full of high res pics is not going to come up instantly. This i am sure of,as i've seen it on a few computers with the same connection as me.By internet,i mean any browser.I've tried safari, firefox,ie and chrome,so the internet in general.Hope that clarifies it.
If it was a slight difference as many tweaks do,i would not eggagerate so much.

I totally understand everyones desire to have their Windows7 install running at peak performance; but wouldn't it be a little smarter to first let it COMPLETELY install itself and be running? Another idea might be that your internet connection simply is not configured well enough; there might be too many other programs trying to run at the same time, and any of many other possibilities. I think that it would be best if you were to FIRST state these things because there are many people who are going to see your post and figure that they had better tweak their computers setup BEFORE they check some of these other possible causes.

If any of u did any homework b4 posting,u will find out that multimedia scheduling can cut ur internet loading speed by up to 90% at worst. It saves at least 20% of ur connection in reserve for when u might need to run videos in web pages without sound lag.If u have an any where near decent computer, this should not make any difference. If u don't like the idea,or more to the point, don't understand it,then don't use this tweak.

And by the way, sometimes my connection peaks at twice as fast than it is supposed to go..20mb/s on a 10mb/s line...so i call that unbelievable, maybe u don't,personal opinion. ::)

And this is where the tweak came from :
