Twitter and Facebook demoed on Xbox 360 in new clips
« on: October 19, 2009, 09:56:00 PM »

New videos of Xbox 360's upcoming November update bringing Facebook and Twitter to the platform have surfaced. You'll see Facebook usage, Twitter usage, some Last.fm and an attempt at streaming a 1080p movie only for the user to find out that his connection isn't strong enough to support the stream.

Other than that minor mishap, all seems good in the new clips.

Looks way better than the PS3's web browser with it's lackluster Flash support, terrible layout and javascript engines, and the always-wonderful lack of real Java (despite it being built into the system for Blu-Ray movies).
There's no place like 127.0.0.1
