Hi everyone, just a few lines on myself.
My real name is Fred, I am 74 yrs. old and live in the UK. I have been retired for many years, and my main leisure pursuits are touring with my caravan. I also like taking landscape and photos of historic houses and estates. I am a member of the National Trust, and I strongly recommend visitors to the UK to join as it will allow them to visit many beautifull places during their visit.
I have my studio at home(den) where I edit and develop my photos, this being very easy these days due to the changeover from film to digital. I have 4 computers in my network, 2 PCs and 2 Laptops. with 3 of them now using Win7 and my cameras are Leica Digilux 2, Leica D-Lux 4, a Canon G2 and a Canon S45.
When we (my wife and I) are on location we take photos and when we return home we put them up and decide which ones to Print for our portfolios, with the months winner framed for exhibition and shown on one of our homes walls. I also upload photos to photosites so that my offerings can be seen by other people. Hope their is a photo section within this forum
