KT To Delay Sales Of IPhone4 By 1-2 Months In S Korea

SEOUL (Dow Jones)--South Korea's KT Corp. (030200.SE) said Sunday sales of iPhone4 smartphones will be delayed by one to two months in the South Korean market from the originally planned July.

"We need more time to prepare documents for [the South Korean] government approval to start sales of the smartphones in the domestic market," a company spokesman said by telephone.

There have been complaints that Apple Inc.'s newest iPhone has a flawed antenna design which causes the smart phone to lose reception when touched in the lower left corner. South Korea being the most connected country in the world, this ''flaw'' will not fly there.
