The Asus Eee keyboard computer-in-a-keyboard lets you surf the web from the couch without sticking a PC tower in your home media system. Just fire up the Eee Keyboard, use the wireless HDMI system to connect it to your TV, and use the built-in touchscreen LCD to navigate and you can watch video, read web sites, or do whatever it is you want to do with a keyboard, PC, and big screen TV.
But if the $550 price tag seems a bit steep to you, how does a $100 keyboard with an iPhone dock sound? The Omnio WOWKeys keyboard looks a lot like the Eee Keyboard. The difference is it’s really just a keyboard and docking station.
The WOWKeys has a USB cable which you can use to plug into a PC or Mac. While your iPhone is docked, you could always use a VLC, XBMC, or iTunes remote control app to control media playback on your computer from the iPhone… which makes the WOWKeys sort of like an Eee Keyboard. You just need to supply a fully functional computer for it to work.
