We have earlier seen lot of new features in Windows 8 including the new immersive UI,Windows Store and new Windows Explorer, today the folks at IT World have uncovered some of the new features including a 3G/Wi-Fi/WWAN Cost Limiter and multi-monitor support.
With the Cost Limiter feature the administrators can put a cap on 3G, 4G, WiFi and WWAN data transfer. The user group policy in Windows 8 state that the admins can choose between Unrestricted, Fixed or Variable.The admin would also have the option to completely disable mobile roaming.
Another feature which would be pretty useful for the Multi Monitor users is that the taskbar would be visible on all the monitors not just on the primary screen as in Windows 7. This feature is currently not working in the leaked Windows 8 builds and we are not sure about the functioning of this feature, whether the taskbar would be cloned on all the monitors or just the programs would be shown.
