This one deals with the tradeoffs and technologies that must be considered when building servers, networks and storage for cloud scale data centers.

Some of the tradeoffs will include performance, reliability, security, flexible virtual machine deployment, storage architecture selection and interoperability with the existing architecture. Each of these choices affect each other and if you’re in charge of making these decisions, it’s important to get some information to guide you.

This session presents a few canonical architectures that highlight interesting tradeoffs for the design of servers and systems focused on cloud deployments.
