Get DOS style boot manager in Windows 8

With the unveiling of Windows 8, there have been many new features that were not initially shown off when introduced. One small, but unannounced feature, was a new boot manager.

Microsoft really did work to bring Metro to every aspect of the new platform. Considering that the Boot Manager is not used by many when compared to other features, they did take the time to update the look and feel of the Boot Manager bit if you dont like this new boot manager you can go back to old one.and use

DOS style boot manager.

How to Get back Old Boot Manager in Windows 8?
from windows 8 boot manager In the  click on Change Defaults or Choose Other Options.
 


Click Chose Default Operating System.



Now you need to select your OS (Windows 7, Vista or XP) – which ever OS you want to boot in to.
 


Click the back button and select continue to Windows 7 or the OS you want. Or select Turn Off Your PC.



From now on, when you restart the computer you’ll see the familiar and speedy DOS style boot manager.



we made this tutorial because Sometimes dual-booting a system is a handy way to test new software, a new operating system, or an application that needs to be run in a specific version of Windows. Other reasons to dual-boot might include replication of a client environment.
