Rumor: Has Microsoft started working on Windows 9

Microsoft is working on Windows 8 RTM which would be launched for OEM’s in early August but, now a new tweet from a well-known source of Windows 8 leaks, that he is running Windows 9 makes us anxious whether Microsoft has started work on Windows 9 already.



We already know that Microsoft has compiled build 9200 which technically speaking should be the build for Windows 9 but, now this tweet by Canouna makes it more interesting. Canouna has previously said that Microsoft has compiled build 9200 which is still Windows 8 and it is also the final RTM build of Windows 8 as per reports.
 
The question to ask is whether Microsoft has already started the working on Windows 8 post-RTM aka Windows 9 or not. We will see confirmation in few days by Microsoft when the build would be launched for OEM’s in August and since then, you may take this Windows 9 thing as a rumor.
