Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 has been released recently and while post installations have gone through smoothly, there is a small percentage who find that Internet Explorer 10 does not install on their Windows 7 computer and they may have received the following Error Message, even after having installed the prerequisite Windows Updates.

Internet Explorer 10 does not install

The reason for this happening is because, some computers have hybrid video cards that are not yet compatible with Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7.

As a result Internet Explorer 10 will not install on these Windows 7 computers until updated hardware drivers are available for these video cards.

Microsoft is working with these computer manufacturers and expects the device drivers to be available soon.
