CoolPad’s huge screen phablet/phone, the CoolPad Halo has made an apperance at CES, with rumours that the device could make it’s way to India later this year!

The CoolPad Halo, known in China as the CoolPad Great God, launched in China a few days ago and is now at CES wooing the crowds with its enormous 7-inch panel.

Before dismissing the phone as being just too big, you might want to take a look at the specification as it is pretty special!

The 7-inch panel itself has a resolution of 1200 x 1920, an 8-core MT6592 processor sits inside humming away at 1.7Ghz and there is 2GB RAM and a 700MHz Mali 450-MP4 graphics processor as well!

With such as large display a 4000mAh batter has been built-in to the phone to keep it going all day long, and dual-SIM support means use of both GSM and WCDMA sims.

Other nice details include a 13 megapixel rear camera with f2.0 aperture and 5 mega-pixel front camera. Pricing is 1888 Yuan in China, but expect a price nearer Rs 26,000 when it is finally launched with Spice in India!
