« on: January 07, 2015, 01:12:16 AM »
SanDisk’s latest USB line of flash drives have both full-sized and micro USB 3.0 connectors. That means you can plug the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 into your phone, tablet, or PC.

If you have an Android device with support for USB OTG, this lets you quickly copy data from your phone or tablet to the flash drive. Then you can take the drive and pop it into your PC or Mac computer to transfer files to you notebook.

The new line of flash drives support data transfer speeds up to 130MB per second and have retractable USB ports.

SanDisk is offering models with 16GB to 64GB of storage at launch, with suggested prices ranging from $23 to $65.

These new models aren’t the company’s first dual USB drives, but they’re the first to support USB 3.0 and SanDisk has also lengthened the micro USB connector to make it easier to connect the drive to smartphones that may be in thick cases.
