Critical Bug Preventing The Launch Of Next Windows 10 Build
« on: March 13, 2015, 04:14:03 AM »
We finally have a reason! The next Windows 10 build is apparently delayed due to a pesky little bug that Microsoft is currently hard at work fixing. That’s both thrilling and distressing.

Engineers at Redmond quash bugs and issues in Windows for fun, but every now and then they have to deal with a rather serious issue — one such occasion is now, as the company has confirmed that they are working to fix a critical bug.

This issue, according to Gabriel Aul, has put the company’s plans to release a new Windows 10 preview build on hold.

It apparently affects a critical feature of the upcoming operating system:

The fact that Microsoft is weighing options here is rather interesting, It may actually come down to the company skipping this particular version and moving onto the next one, if this issues takes time getting sorted out.

Luckily, the build itself is looking good, and hopefully it is out in the open very soon.
