Change is a universal fact of life. Billions have used the Windows 7 Start Menu, and while this trademark feature of the OS is set to return in Windows 10, it is a dynamically changed implementation of it.
That is to say, it doesn’t offer that handy, familiar and classic look.
No wonder, then, that many people are hoping to see Microsoft implement more changes in the operating system before it gets the greenlight.
Matthew Langdon, however, is not having any of it.

The designer has imagined a Start Menu in classic mode, similar to Windows 7, even if it features the Live Tiles that were popularized in the Windows 8 Start Screen — a subtler implementation, however, placing them on the left side.
On the right is the app list that inherits the familiar design of Windows 7 sans any Live Tiles.
Microsoft does provide a way for users to remove all the Live Tiles in the Windows 10 Start Menu if they prefer a simpler design. But there is no streamlined way to accomplish this, much to the dismay of fans of the classic Windows 7 Start Menu.
Still, the company has made it clear that what we’ve seen so far is early UI, and a lot of it could change by the time the final version of the operating system gets compiled.
