More Sources Confirm Late July Launch For Windows 10 RTM
« on: May 12, 2015, 04:25:01 PM »

We’re nearing launch, with each passing week. As we recently reported, Windows 10 RTM is almost ready for action, with Microsoft only expected to launch a couple more preview builds.

And now there is talk that the software titan has finalized the date for the final version of its upcoming operating system — and it’s very much in line with the summer time frame that was previously speculated by a number of sources.

AMD officials, for example, were quite confident with the estimates, for instance.

Now Russian leaker WZor is claiming that the rumored date is indeed accurate. At least for the RTM version that Microsoft hands out to hardware manufacturers.

Here’s the tweet with details:

If we go by this, then the full launch of Windows 10 is very likely to take place in August.

Time will tell if this information is accurate, but this is what Redmond is aiming for, and unless there are any major hiccups during development, we can expect the new OS to be out in the wild within the next three months.

Good times ahead.
