Windows 10 Build 10163 Release Notes Now Out
« on: July 05, 2015, 08:45:15 AM »
This build may be out of bounds, but its documentation is out there. Windows 10 build 10163 release notes have made their way to the web, showing a range of bug fixes.

Microsoft launched build 10162 yesterday, also making the ISO files available for slow ring users.

These preview versions are now coming along at a much faster pace now, and as these release notes confirm, the software titan had already distributed this newer build for testing to partners. And this one comes with a lot of bug fixes and improvements.

No major new feature or software updates to the operating system, though.

It is fully focused on fixing bugs, and makes it abundantly clear in the documentation:

However, as Redmond explains they were forced to remove some third-party applications that were either unsupported, or caused problems for those upgrading from Windows 7 and 8.1, affecting the experience with Windows 10:

Quote
“A particular third-party app is now automatically removed when you upgrade to Windows 10 Insider Preview. The app was unsupported in Windows 10 Insider Preview and had no functionality.”
Another app was removed because it caused Windows 10 Insider Preview to become unusable due to driver issues when it was installed.

These changes may (or may not) be part of the final version of the operating system, as Microsoft has already warned that some incompatible applications may be removed in order to ensure that the Windows 10 upgrade is completed flawlessly.

Users will, however, be provided with a list of apps and incompatible software during installation, and will be allowed to choose whether to continue or interrupt the process.
