On the far side of the world, New Zealand is the first major territory to welcome the arrival of Windows 10.
Some four and a half million people are probably asleep right about now as the clock hits midnight, but keen upgraders will be eager to see if their PC will update.
The country, split across two main islands, is home to great rugby and cricket sides, the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, and a pretty relaxed way of life.
With that in mind, we’ll see if the Windows Store in New Zealand updates with interesting offers and see what transpires on social media.

Check back for more information as the Windows 10 rollout gathers speed around the world. There will probably be more activity in Sydney, Australia, where there’s a major Microsoft Retail Store.
