Good old Microsoft is back! You may recall that during the development of Windows 8, the software titan regularly put up blog posts detailing the new features of that modern OS.

And how to use them.

Highlighting the improved Action Center, along with tips for users on how to best use it.

The focus is specifically on the newest features for this side of Windows 10, which are coming in the Anniversary Update and are available in the latest preview builds.

Four tips are provided.

With the first one detailing how to sign in to Cortana and set up photo reminders, which are basically reminders that have an image or photo show up as part of the content.

Second simply talks about downloading the best apps available for the platform that offer support for rich notifications like Facebook, Flipboard, and LINE.

Next shows users how they can get web notifications from their favorite websites via Microsoft Edge.

And finally, the company explains how users can get notifications from their phone on their PC. This entails signing in to Cortana on both devices with the same Microsoft account and works by installing the latest version of the digital voice assistant on Android.

In addition to all that, Microsoft also provides details of the control that is available in the Anniversary Update over how notifications are delivered in Windows 10.
