There are a bunch of iPad apps in the App Store that purport to let you print, but none of them work very well.



Air Sharing HD lets you download attachments from your email account for printing.



Air Sharing HD lets you view a wide range of documents, including Word, Pages, Excel, and PDF.



Air Sharing HD can print to printers shared by Macs on your local network.



The print settings option on Air SHaring HD lets you select the pages, copies, and orientation for your printouts



Documentz Pro purports to let you print from your iPad, but getting files into the software is a total pain.



Documents Pro does a good job at viewing PDFs once you get them into the software, but you can't view email attachments.



Documentz Pro lists all the printers shared by Macs on your local network, but in our experience it could print to only a few of them.



Canon iEPP, an iPhone app, works for printing photos directly to Canon printers from an iPad.



ePrint claims to print various document types directly to printers, but we found it crashed every time we tried to print to our Epson or HP printers.



ePrint's useful clipboard-printing mode lets you copy the text of emails and then print them out.
